About Us

Ken Gregg, Owner of Digital Intelligence, has over 27 years of professional
software design and development experience at both the system level and
application level. He has successfully led project teams ranging from three to
200+ people. His projects have ranged from large-scale one-off factory
automation systems to shrink-wrapped consumer products; from embeded systems and
device drivers in assembly language to software development tools to high-level
user interfaces. Ken couples his technical knowledge with his sense of humor and
experience as an entertainer to motivate teams, train students, author technical
books, and speak to groups large and small. He can speak and write code at the
same time. Specialties:Software design and development, project management, C,
C++, C#, .NET, assembly language, operating system development, compiler
development, programming course development and delivery, technical writing.
Ken is the author of four books on Windows. He has held software
engineering, management, and executive positions at Texas Instruments, InteCom
(Wang Laboratories), Microsoft, and Artisoft. In addition to developing
software for clients, Ken develops and delivers customized training through Pima
Community College Workforce and Business Development, as well as directly to
industry clients on-site and off-site. He has owned and operated Digital
Intelligence since 1996.
Using the other side of his brain, Ken Gregg is a voice actor (performing
voiceovers for radio and TV commercials and industrial projects), a member of a
national comedy improv troupe, and a stand-up comedian. He brings these
skills to training and management situations to add life to presentations and
humor to difficult topics.
Ken has been a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) since
1981, and the Computer Science Teacher's Association (CSTA) since
its founding in 2005.
